CEO’s Letter — Spring 2019

David PillsburyDear Members and Guests,

We are always excited to talk about ClubLife and all the experiences our Members enjoy — the fun, the service, the camaraderie, the sports, the relaxation, and the fulfillment. It’s about the lifestyle, and with new benefits — such as Daily Pour premium beverages and wines at a great value, our Member birthday recognition offering, and programs for wellness, fitness, and families — we’re working to provide plenty of opportunities for you to connect, host, work, and play.

We also are building on the culture of our organization. We’re focused on the “why” of what we do (Building Relationships and Enriching Lives) and “how” we do it (through our Three Steps of Service: Warm Welcomes, Magic Moments, and Fond Farewells). We also are focusing on the training our Employee Partners receive in order to deliver exceptional experiences consistently, and on serving our Members and our communities with open hearts. I am so proud to report that our 2018 ClubCorp Charity Classic brought in more than $3 million, taking the total raised since the event was established in 2007 to more than $27 million — an amazing accomplishment with much of the thanks owed to you, our Members.

To help us continue to improve and to celebrate what we are doing well, I encourage you to take your club’s monthly InMoment surveys. We appreciate the valuable feedback, and it’s important for you to know that survey scores will now impact the compensation of your club leadership team.

The spring golf season is in full swing with THE PLAYERS in March and many other high-profile pro tournaments to look forward to, including the Masters and the PGA Championship. Elevate the season with tournament watch parties at your club, and take advantage of all our clubs have to offer — on the course and off. From spring golf and tennis leagues and kids’ camps to seasonal food and wine tastings, our clubs are here every day to enhance your life.

Thank you for your membership. You can contact me anytime at my email address below.
