Who she is: As president of the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia, she oversees a team experienced in international trade, marketing, finance, and more. To date, the organization has helped companies generate $1.6 billion in incremental global sales.

Action plan: “Our mission is to accelerate the global business growth of companies in the Greater Philadelphia region. We do this by offering one-on-one trade counseling and market research, developing global trade missions, organizing business networking events, and providing connections to more than 300 World Trade Centers in nearly 90 countries.”

Hard at work: The organization helps 400 to 500 companies a year grow their businesses internationally, generating a better economy for the area and striving to “advance peace and prosperity through trade.”

Recognizing the risks: “I have an enormous respect for small-business owners. They are the risk takers who account for the majority of jobs and job growth in our country.”

Business advice: “Establish partnerships to advance your professional goals and your organization’s goals. Leverage talent and work on achieving mutual goals.”
