The Emerald City makes for a gem of a weekend getaway. Here's where to go, stay and explore.
As we wait for our food at Gonpachi Nishi-Azabu, a popular restaurant near the Sensō-ji temple in Tokyo’s Asakusa neighborhood, our sweet guide, Yuki, asks my kids if they’d like to learn to count to five in Japanese.
We have an incredible lineup of events for the whole family happening throughout the season and into early fall, including a chance for some of our younger Members to play golf with Jordan Spieth. There are also culinary celebrations happening at the Clubs that promise to be delicious, as well as a can’t-miss Food and Wine Festival at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in the Dominican Republic — where we’ll name our Chef of the Year and our Mixologist of the Year — that you’ll want to start planning for now.
Take a look to learn about these events and more, and get ready for a spectacular summer.
The 152nd Open Championship returns to the shores of western Scotland later this summer, marking the 10th time that golf’s oldest major is played at Royal Troon Golf Club. When competitive rounds begin during the week of July 14, players must be prepared for anything Mother Nature will throw at them. The conditions may not be primed for scoring — they may not even feel conducive to playing golf — but those who wish to contend for the Claret Jug must make the best of it.
